Derrick Santini, born in 1965 in Scarborough, England, is a highly acclaimed photographer whose work has been exhibited globally. He holds a BA Hons in Photography and Communication from LCP (now LCC). Santini's portraits have been acquired by the National Portrait Gallery in London; his work is widely collected (Damien Hirst is a fan); his exhibitions range from solo shows in the UK and internationally. His innovative approach and techniques have led him to conduct masterclass workshops, most notably in Lenticular photography. A master storyteller, Derrick draws inspiration from photography, myths, legends, and fantasy.
Capturing deeply personal and intimate moments Derrick blends reality with allegory and imagination. His work is featured in prestigious publications including Vice and Vogue, and he continues to work commercially and editorially, as well as publishing numerous articles on photography.
