Established in 2019, Acton Unframed, a grass roots urban art project aimed to bring world class street art to Acton, London. It raised £54K in just over two weeks with strong support from the local community (though WhatsApp and Spacehive), local businesses, Acton BID, Ealing Council, the Acton Central Ward Forum and The Mayor of London.
Headed up by local residents Jewel Goodby, Kal Di Paola and delivered in partnership with James Goodby as West London Art Factory, the project aimed to attract visitors to the area and serve as a catalyst to engage the community and inspire commercial and social change in the neighbourhood.
